Tony Woods is best known for his urban garden designs and roof top gardening and is a fully registered member of the Society of Garden Designers and British Association of Landscape Industries Designers.
At his studio based in Vauxhall, Tony Works with his team of landscape architects and designers to create schemes ranging from residential back gardens to more complex and pioneering schemes such as the John Lewis Oxford Street Rooftop and Europe’s first floating pocket park at Merchant Square in Paddington.
Tony studied horticulture from the age of 14, attaining a GCSE in horticulture before moving on to horticultural college to attain a Diploma in Horticulture and a HND in Gardening and Plantsmanship. Now aged 33, Tony has a vast range of experience in all aspects of gardening and garden design. He was named RHS Young Garden Designer of the Year in 2013 also winning a Gold Medal at Tatton Park Flower Show. Most recently Tony Won RHS Chelsea Gold and ‘Best Space to Grow Garden’ in 2018 and Gold at Hampton Court 2019. Away from show gardens, The Society of Garden Designers awarded Tony the 2019 awards for Roof Garden Design and Community Space.
