Richard Flenley was a landscape designer in private practice with Land Use Consultants [LUC] from 1970 until formal retirement in 2011. As Principal, and later Chair of the practice, he participated in a very wide range of projects from broad scale environmental assessment to detailed design and implementation including numerous award winning projects. He has been an advisor to the Royal Parks since 1980. He is currently a trustee for Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery [Ealing], Kelmarsh Hall [Northants] , The Quadrangle [Shoreham, Kent] and is a voluntary advisor to The Royal Parks Guild. His interests extend across many areas of history and the arts.
