Delivering Value In the 'post - eruption' Era
When the toxic debt could no longer be contained and the inevitable pressure-releasing eruption occurred, covering the Globe, not only did the Icelandic bank debt pervade all our lives but that small island's volcano also adversely affected us all - at least once - in the subsequent months. Perhaps the effect of the latter was small on many of us, little more than an inconvenience, but the former 'debacle' has had consequences that few of us could have predicted - and even now - 42 months on - are still being realised as the Fall-out settles around our feet. So as we peer through the settling dust, what can we see ahead? Has our philosophy on life changed as a result of these cataclysmic events? were they so life changing anyway? I will argue that clients expect more, yet will pay more and that good design and informed up-selling are the key ways to succeed in the 'post-eruption' era
