Seminar Programme 2019

Growing an Abundance of Food, No Matter the Size of the Garden

17 Sep 2019
Seminar Theatre 3
In this talk, Huw and Stephanie will cover why all you need is a windowsill to start growing your own food and what the best vegetable varieties are for growing in small spaces. They will also explain why you shouldn't grow potatoes if you are trying to save money, why growing homegrown tomatoes is dangerous and how to maximise vertical space to increase yields from the same area. Compost is another issue, especially in urban areas with fear of rats, so they will discuss alternatives and also why rats aren't as bad as you might think
